Professional Boxing Manager Requirements
1. Application and Fees
- Submit an application: Provide detailed information about yourself and your experience in boxing.
- Pay the application fee: XYZ (Amount to be confirmed - lesser than promoter)
- Pay the annual subscription fee: XYZ (Amount to be confirmed - lesser than promoter)
2. Experience and Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year's experience: In a related field, such as boxing training, promotion, or management.
- Boxing knowledge and expertise: Demonstrate a thorough understanding of boxing rules, regulations, and safety protocols.
3. Business and Financial Requirements
- Registered business: Must be a registered business in Nigeria, with a valid business name and address.
- Insurance: Must have adequate insurance to cover management activities.
4. Personal Requirements
- Good character: Must be of good character, with no convictions or pending charges that would bring the sport into disrepute.
- Medical certification: Not required for managers, but must ensure that boxers under their management have the necessary medical certifications.
5. Contract and Agreement
- Manager's contract: Must have a written contract with the boxer, outlining terms and conditions of management.
- Board agreement: Must sign an agreement with the Board, acknowledging the rules and regulations of the organization.
6. Interview and Approval
- Interview with the Board: May be required to attend an interview with the Board to discuss the application and demonstrate knowledge and expertise.
- Approval by the Board: The Board will review the application and make a decision regarding approval.
