Professional Boxing Matchmaker Requirements
1. Application and Fees
- Submit an application: Provide detailed information about yourself and your experience in boxing.
- Pay the application fee: XYZ (Amount to be confirmed - lesser than promoter and manager)
- Pay the annual subscription fee: XYZ (Amount to be confirmed - lesser than promoter and manager)
2. Experience and Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years' experience: In a related field, such as boxing promotion, management, or matchmaking.
- Boxing knowledge and expertise: Demonstrate a thorough understanding of boxing rules, regulations, and safety protocols.
- Network and connections: Must have established relationships with promoters, managers, and boxers.
3. Personal Requirements
- Good character: Must be of good character, with no convictions or pending charges that would bring the sport into disrepute.
- Integrity and impartiality: Must demonstrate integrity and impartiality in matchmaking decisions.
4. Registration and Approval
- Register with the Board: Must register as a matchmaker with the Board.
- Approval by the Board: The Board will review the application and make a decision regarding approval.
5. Ongoing Requirements
- Continuing education: Must stay up-to-date with changes in boxing rules, regulations, and safety protocols.
- Compliance with Board rules: Must comply with Board rules and regulations, including those related to matchmaking.
