Professional Boxing Matchmaker Requirements

1. Application and Fees

  1. Submit an application: Provide detailed information about yourself and your experience in boxing.
  2. Pay the application fee: XYZ (Amount to be confirmed - lesser than promoter and manager)
  3. Pay the annual subscription fee: XYZ (Amount to be confirmed - lesser than promoter and manager)

2. Experience and Qualifications

  1. Minimum 2 years' experience: In a related field, such as boxing promotion, management, or matchmaking.
  2. Boxing knowledge and expertise: Demonstrate a thorough understanding of boxing rules, regulations, and safety protocols.
  3. Network and connections: Must have established relationships with promoters, managers, and boxers.

3. Personal Requirements

  1. Good character: Must be of good character, with no convictions or pending charges that would bring the sport into disrepute.
  2. Integrity and impartiality: Must demonstrate integrity and impartiality in matchmaking decisions.

4. Registration and Approval

  1. Register with the Board: Must register as a matchmaker with the Board.
  2. Approval by the Board: The Board will review the application and make a decision regarding approval.

5. Ongoing Requirements

  1. Continuing education: Must stay up-to-date with changes in boxing rules, regulations, and safety protocols.
  2. Compliance with Board rules: Must comply with Board rules and regulations, including those related to matchmaking.
